Ford Expedition vs. GMC Yukon

At first blush, both models appear to be similarly sized. In fact, they both have a length of 210 inches. A more noticeable difference comes when taking a closer look at their wheelbases—the distance between the centers of the front and rear wheels: 122.5 inches for the Expedition and 120.9 inches for the Yukon. So, what does that mean?

Legroom dimensions are similar in the first two rows; however, third-row riders will have more room to spread out in the Expedition’s 36.1 inches of 3rd-row legroom compared to 34.9 inches in the Yukon.

The Yukon comes standard with a 5.3L V8 engine, while the Ford Expedition packs a punch with its 3.5L EcoBoost® V6 motor. While the GMC’s configuration is larger, that does not equal power, as the Ford is quick to prove.
